FurnaceFilters.com Standard Capacity Pleated Furnace Filters are MERV 13 rated according to ASHRAE 52.2 standards and 40% to 45% efficient according to ASHRAE 52.1 standards. FurnaceFilters.com Standard Capacity Pleated Furnace Filters are available in 2" and 4" depth. The electrostatically charged 100% synthetic graduated density media is continuously bonded to a 30 guage galvanized, corrosion resistant, expanded metal support grid with an effective open area of 96%. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth.
The controlled pleat spacing maximizes surface area and dust holding capacity and is bonded to the enclosure frame to prevent dust bypass. The enclosure frame is contructed of high wet strength moisture resistant beverage board. The diagnol support members of the frame are bonded to the entering and exiting apexes of each pleat to prevent pleat collapse and filter bowing, while preventing air bypass and providing rigidity.

Too soon to give it a full 5 stars, as I need to see how it lasts, compared to the name-brand filter it replaced. Product visually looks similar to the product I replaced, and seems just as sturdy. I liked the fact that it was US made, and was significantly less expensive than the filter I replaced. If it lasts the same, it's a 'home run'.

These pleated filters help to remove dust and pet dander. We have been using this product for years. Highly recommend. In our household with forced air heat and 2 golden retrievers, we need to replace filter every 2 months. Price for this product is excellent. Quality of product isexceptional.
